Bluewater has the cleanest toilets in the South East according to young Mums in a magazine survey. The survey was carried out among readers of Mother and Baby magazine for Milton the sterilising and cleaning brand for babies.

Bluewater received a merit for the Sales Promotion Category for its innovative 'Free 'Flight to Europe' campaign at the ICSC Solal 2004 Marketing Awards held in Rome during April.

Bluewater won the Grand Opening category at the 25th Annual International Council for Shopping Centres (ICSC) Conference in Berlin.

ICSC European Shopping Centre Award 2000

Bluewater was a joint winner of the European Shopping Centre Award with a centre in Portugal at the 25th Annual ICSC Conference in Berlin.

FIABCI Prix d'Excellence 2000

Bluewater was awarded the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence in the Retail Category. FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation is an important world-wide communications network and the Prix d'Excellence Award recognises the projects that embody excellence in all the disciplines involved in their creation.

National Lighting Design Awards 2000

Bluewater won an award of excellence in the Retail Lighting category. New York Festival – PR: Corporate Image Category Lend Lease was awarded the Gold Award for Bluewater's ‘Vision to Reality' video.

International Visual Communication Association Awards 2000 (IVCA Awards)

The ‘Vision to Reality' video won Lend Lease an award for Best Corporate Video. The company also achieved the best corporate event award for the ‘Bluewater – Spirit of Partnership' evening which was held in May 1999.

Special Event 2000 Gala Awards, San Diego USA - Best Off-premise Catered Event in the World

The Moving Venue Caterers received this award for the ‘Bluewater - Spirit of Partnership' Dinner in May 1999. This is the first time that a European Company has achieved this accolade.

Bluewater received a Merit Award for Environmental Improvement.

Bluewater won awards for the opening of the centre in March 1999, overall marketing campaign and customer service. It also received a merit award for Media Relations.

Bluewater won the Best New Centre award. Millennium Products The Millennium Product Marque was awarded to Bluewater in September 1999.

Environmental Awards for Kent Business

Bluewater was highly commended in the 1999 Community Relations category of the Environmental Awards for Kent Business sponsored by the Kent Messenger Group.

Quality in Construction Awards 1999
