Bluewater Apprenticeship Scheme Following the successful launch of the Bluewater Apprenticeship Scheme in 2009, the 7 apprentices employed in 2010/2011 have successfully completed their qualifications and secured employed. In 2012 the scheme has expanded and employers received a subsidy and employ apprentices directly. They gain the skills and experience vital to a career in retail and benefit from retail employment, classroom and work based training to achieve Retail Skills QCF and Retail Knowledge the Technical certificate of the apprenticeship.
