What is the Bluewater GiftCard? The Bluewater GiftCard is a perfect present for any occasion. It is a pre-paid stored value card which can be used to purchase goods or services. The available balance will be reduced by the amount of each purchase of goods or services.
Where can I buy a Bluewater GiftCard? The Bluewater GiftCard is available for purchase in any denomination from £5 - £500 at the Concierge Desks. Maximum cash transactions of £250 will be accepted for a gift card, for any amounts over this another form of payment will be required.
Am I able to get my card delivered to a 2nd address?
Bluewater now offers a service whereby a purchased GiftCard can be sent to a 2nd address. Please select this option on checkout and once processed, an email will be sent to you confirming that the card delivery has been sent.
Where can I spend my GiftCard in Bluewater? The GiftCard is accepted at any Bluewater store which is under the Bluewater GiftCard scheme. It can be used to purchase goods and services only and may not be used at automated cash machines or for online purchases. It is advisable to check with individual stores before purchasing any goods.
What if I don't spend the entire value of my GiftCard in one transaction? With each purchase you make using your GiftCard, the value on the card will reduce and you can continue using your card in other Bluewater stores. For example, if you receive a GiftCard loaded with £50 and make a £20 transaction, you will have £30 left to spend on other goods and services at Bluewater.
Purchases above the balance of the GiftCard must be combined with another acceptable form of payment. This is at the discretion of the store. Bluewater is not responsible for the refusal of a participating store to perform a split transaction.
Can I add more money to my GiftCard? No. The Bluewater GiftCard can only be loaded with money once at the time of purchase.
Can I use more than one GiftCard at one time at Bluewater? Yes - this is at the discretion of the store. Bluewater is not responsible for the refusal of a participating store to perform a split transaction.
What happens if my Bluewater GiftCard expires? Your GiftCard will automatically terminate when it has a zero balance or the expiry date is reached. The GiftCard is valid for 12 months from date of purchase and will expire thereafter. Date of purchase is printed on the purchase receipt included in the GiftCard wallet. 12 months after this date, the money in your GiftCard account will no longer be available and you cannot use the GiftCard. You will lose all rights to the money.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen? You are responsible for all transactions, including all unauthorised transactions that take place if the card is lost or stolen. If you card is lost, stolen or damaged, you should contact Store Financial (the program manager) immediately on 0845 686 2273 (charges will apply). You will not be liable for any transactions after you have informed Store Financial of the lost or stolen card. A replacement GiftCard can be issued however this can only be done with proof of purchase such as the entire gift card number, the damaged GiftCard in the case of a damaged card and your full identification. If a replacement card is issued as a result of a lost, stolen or damaged card a £2 administration fee will apply.
How do I check my balance?You can inquire about the purchase date, available balance, and transaction history of your Bluewater GiftCard by telephoning 0845 355 0525 (charges will apply) or online at www.getmybalance.com Balance information is also printed on every purchase receipt and you can ask at our Concierge Desk.
What happens if I need to return or exchange a purchase made with my Bluewater GiftCard? When purchasing goods you will receive a receipt from the retailer similar to that when paying with a credit or debit card. Please ensure you keep this receipt as well as your GiftCard, even if there is a zero balance remaining. You will need to present your Bluewater GiftCard to the retailer for any returns however, any returns and exchanges will be governed by the policies of the retailer and applicable law. If the refund is credited back onto your Bluewater GiftCard, it will take up to 7 working days for the balance to be reinstated.

Will the information I provide to complete transaction be safe ?www.bluewater.co.uk is held on a secure server and Bluewater use a secure payment gateway to process your payment.
How many cards can I buy?Up to 5 cards to a total value of £500 (excluding postage and packaging costs)
How quickly will card(s) be despatched ?Bluewater aim to fulfill and despatch all orders within 48 hours. Delivery normally takes between 1 and 3 days.
Can I use American Express to make purchase?Unfortunately Bluewater doesn’t accept American Express cards.
Can I use a debit or a credit card ?Yes you can.
I placed an order but Bluewater rejected payment – why?Bluewater may decide at any time not to accept payment from you by your debit or credit card. If this decision is made, we will not process your order and will contact you to inform you that this order has not been processed.
How much does postage and packaging cost?£4.50 for one card and £1.50 extra for every extra card you purchase. i.e. £6 for 2 cards, £7.50 for 3 cards, £9 for 4 cards, £10.50 for 5 cards.
Is delivered guaranteed by a certain date?We use the Royal Mail and your order should arrive between 1 and 3 days after processing is complete. Bluewater however cannot guarantee deliveries. All deliveries must be signed for by the Royal Mail when delivered.
I have heard I can order online then collect from Bluewater – How does this work?This service incurs no delivery charges. Simply click on “Collect from Bluewater” option when making your booking and your order will be ready to pick from the Concierge Desk (Guest Services) on Upper Guildhall. Remember, you must bring along the credit/debit card you used for payment and photographic
identification (either a valid passport or valid photo drivers license) before your card will be released. An email will be sent to you when your card is ready to pick up.
If I buy a GiftCard online and want to collect it from a Bluewater Concierge desk, is a friend or relative able to collect the GiftCard on my behalf?There are 2 ways that this can be done:1) You can complete the ‘second address details’ section of the ‘Order Online’ GiftCard form with the details of the person who will be collecting the GiftCard on your behalf or;2) Email your request directly to GiftCards@bluewater.co.uk and we will manually attach the email to your GiftCard as authorization. The person collecting the GiftCard on your behalf will need to provide ID in the form of a Driving License or Passport that he/she will need to present upon collection of the Giftcard.
I live outside the UK – why can’t I order online ?Bluewater has decided as a security measure at this time that to purchase a GiftCard you must be a resident in the UK. We can’t ship to countries outside the United Kingdom
How will I know when my order has been processed ?You will receive an email to confirm your order is being processed.
How will I know when my order has been sent out ?You will receive a 2nd email when your order has been sent out.
Is there an age restriction on online purchasing ?To purchase a GiftCard online you must be aged 18 or over.
