Motability – One Big Day

Motability enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance† to lease a new car, scooter, powered wheelchair or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle and One Big Day is the perfect way to find out everything you need to know about the Motability Scheme.

We bring everything together in one place to make finding out about Motability as easy as possible.  The event is free to attend and is a great day out for the whole family.

There’s loads to see:
• A huge range of cars, scooters, adaptations and Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles on display
• Test drive adapted and non-adapted cars
• Motability advisors available to chat to
• Free parking
• A free tea, coffee or soft drink
• Children’s play area including face painting and a chance to meet Billy the Bear

Event accessibility and parking
To park in the most accessible and closest car park to the event, follow signs for ‘One Big Day’ and ‘Glow’.  Assistance will be on hand in these areas if required.  The event is accessible from the Upper Mall so if you do park in a different area we recommend you park on an upper level to ensure the best experience.
