The Leigh Technical College Enviro Car Programme is a project developed by students from Leigh Technical Academy. They have designed and developed an environmentally friendly racing car which they race against cars from other organisations. The students approached Bluewater to ask if they could use the car parks, out of hours, for practice runs and Bluewater was so impressed, that they now work closely with them and has provided funding to help develop the project further.
