What our Concierge desks don’t know about Bluewater simply isn’t worth knowing and our specially trained hosts are on hand to help you make the most of your visit. Here are some of our guests’ most common questions.
Where are the toilets and family rooms located?

These are located in each of our Welcome Halls on the upper level and on the lower level of The Village and Winter Garden. You will find our main dedicated family room situated by the Winter Garden food hall.


Where can I find out about jobs at Bluewater?
The Learning Shop (The Village, Upper) in association with the Department for Work & Pensions and North West Kent College is your one-stop destination for all recruitment and training services.

Where would you recommend to eat?

All of our restaurants are family-friendly and it depends what kind of food you are looking for – we have over 60 restaurants and cafes offering fast food, casual dining or a more relaxed dining experience. We have three main dining areas: The Wintergarden (fast food), The Village (relaxed dining), The Plaza (casual, entertainment dining).

Bluewater Gift Card Enquiries

Where can I purchase a Bluewater Gift Card?

You can purchase a Gift Card from one of our Concierge desks located on the lower level outside Marks & Spencer and in the upper Red Welcome Hall between John Lewis and House of Fraser. You can also purchase them online here.

Where can I check my Gift Card Balance? 

You can check your balance online at www.getmybalance.com or call: 0845 355 0525 or at Concierge desks.

Where can I spend my Bluewater Gift Card?

The Gift Card is accepted at the majority of Bluewater retailers, including John Lewis, M&S, House of Fraser, most restaurants & Showcase Cinema. Please check with the store or restaurant directly to ensure they accept Bluewater Gift Cards ahead of purchase. 

The Bluewater Gift Card can be used to purchase goods and services only and may not be used at cash points or online. It is advisable to check with individual stores before purchasing any goods.

When does my Bluewater Gift Card expire?

Your Gift Card will automatically terminate when it has a zero balance or the expiry date is reached. The Gift Card is valid for 12 months from date of purchase and will expire thereafter. Date of purchase is written on the Gift Card. 12 months after this date, the money in your Gift Card account will no longer be available and you cannot use the Gift Card. You will lose all rights to the money.


Is there anywhere children can play?

Yes. We have two outdoor play areas located outside the Winter Garden and the Village. We have adventure golf and pedalos at Pirate Cove Adventure Park located outside the Winter Garden.

Can I hire a wheelchair or scooter?

Yes. Visit Shop Mobility located in the Yellow Welcome Hall. You will need two forms of ID and try and pre-book to guarantee one is available when you visit. For more details please click here. 

Is there anywhere I can pray?

We have a non-demoniational Place of Quiet for prayers or for quiet reflection away from the hustle and bustle. You can also meet with one of the chaplains and have a quiet conversation with a supportive listener. Please click here for more details.

Can I hire a pushchair, buggy or small car in Bluewater?

We don’t have pushchairs for hire, you can purchase a basic stroller from Mothercare, £34.99 or from Boots, £29.99.

Kiddie Karts are available to hire from Splat. The Kiddie Karts are the size of your average shopping trolley and can easily be pushed around the centre and in and out of the shops. Kiddle Karts come in two sizes (single seat or double seat) and each car has a large basket with a coffee holder.

Where is the lost property department?

Please contact the Guest Experience Team on 01322 475475 for lost property. We will be able to search our lost property systems and advise. House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Showcase Cinema all have their own independent lost property departments. A lost and found service is also available at our Concierge desks.

Have you got a petrol station at Bluewater?
No but the nearest petrol station is located at Asda or Esso, Greenhithe. Please visit the Concierge desks for directions.
I have lost my friend/ child /partner?

Please visit one of our Concierge desks and they will be able to take descriptive details and pass on to our security team. We do not put sensitive information through our public address system as our hosts carry radios and can communicate directly with security. The public address system will only be used in special circumstances and at the approval of a Duty Manager.

We also have a wristband scheme which enables you to pick up a wristband on arrival at the centre which you can then put your contact details on before giving it to your child to wear. Please click here for more information on wristbands.

Can I gain access to the car parks out of trading hours?

Bluewater does not close due to the varying trading hours of our restaurants and Showcase Cinema. You can exit the centre through our Welcome Halls and the main exits in The Winter Garden and The Village.

Access to the car parks closes at 11pm except for the blue car park to allow access for late night cinema showings.

Have you got any lockers so we do not need to carry our heavy shopping around?

No but retailers including House of Fraser, Next, Mothercare, Early Learning Centre, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer normally allow you to leave your shopping with them until you are ready to go home.

Where are the ATM machines and do you have a post office?
All ATM machines are located in the Welcome Halls and Wintergarden. We have four of the major banks at Bluewater where you will also find ATM machines. We do not have a post office but you will find post boxes in all of the lower Welcome Halls and WH Smith offer a parcel delivery service.
Where can I log in to WIFI?
Bluewater’s free WIFI is supplied by 02. To enable access, please login and register to get your own individual password.
Do you have a Supermarket?
We have Marks & Spencer and John Lewis who both have their own food halls.
