Bluey at Bluewater FAQs
Tickets
Q: How can I attend? Is the event free?
This event is completely free to attend. No payment is required to reserve your ticket, but you must reserve a ticket to secure your spot. You will not be able to enter the activation or queue without a ticket.
Q: What time should I arrive?
You must arrive at the start of your time slot. If you arrive outside of this time slot, we can’t guarantee your entry to the activation. Please note – this activation will be popular so it may involve a short wait before you can enter the space (+20 mins), but Bluey’s Helpers will be on hand to help make the queue a fun experience!
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
Please bring your confirmation email (digital or printed). Please note - all members of your party should arrive together.
Q: Do I need a ticket for each person?
Yes, each adult and child attending must have their own ticket. Tickets are scanned individually upon entry.
Q: Can I attend more than once?/Can I book multiple slots?
No, repeat bookings are not permitted. Guests who attempt to book more than once will be denied entry at the door. We strongly advise against trying, as this policy is strictly enforced.
Q: Is there an age limit for the activation?
The experience is designed for children and their families. While there’s no strict age limit, it’s best suited for children aged 2-10, and all children (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult throughout the activation.
Q: Will there be further tickets available?
Tickets are limited and may get booked up quickly. While we don’t currently have plans to release additional tickets, we recommend keeping an eye on our website and social channels for any updates or last-minute availability.
Q: Can I get a ticket on the day if someone cancels?
We understand that some visitors may want to drop by spontaneously, especially with children. However, tickets are only available through our booking system. If there are cancellations, any newly available slots will appear on the booking page. Please check this page for up-to-date availability. You will not be able to enter the activation without a ticket.
Q: Can I book just for an adult or just for a child?
Bookings must include both an adult and a child. This experience is designed for families to enjoy together, so single adult or child-only bookings aren’t available. For safety and supervision, children must be always accompanied by an adult during the activation.
Q: Will I receive a confirmation email?
Yes, a confirmation email with your ticket details will be sent to you. Please bring it with you on the day of your booking.
Q: I can’t find my email confirmation / I don’t have an email confirmation.

Q: Can I change my booking date or time?
Bookings are non-transferable and cannot be changed once confirmed. Please double check your selected slot before completing your reservation.

If you can no longer attend the activation, please press ‘Manage Tickets’ on your confirmation email in order to cancel the tickets on the system. Or you can email the team at BlueysAussieChristmas@hotpickle.co.uk to cancel.
The Activation
Q: What is Bluey’s Aussie Christmas?
Bluey’s Aussie Christmas is a free, festive, ticketed experience at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, running from 28–30 November and 5–7 December. Families can step into Bluey’s Aussie Christmas, an Australian Christmas-themed activation that includes a huge Christmas tree inspired by the Bluey episode ‘Verandah Santa’ and Bingo’s ‘Crazy Christmas Lights’ moment. Kids can say hello to Bluey and Bingo, and personalise their own festive photo. When visitors first arrive, they can take a snap in front of Bluey’s iconic family home, decorated for Christmas. Families will then be greeted by Bluey’s Helpers who will show them how to play fun games inspired by Bluey episodes.
Q: How long is the experience?
The full experience lasts approximately between 4 to 10 minutes, depending on group size and pace - just enough time to enjoy the festive fun … hooray! Please note, this activation may involve a short wait before you can enter the space (+20 mins).
Q: I didn’t get a ticket / the event is sold out.
We’re sorry you missed out on getting tickets to Bluey’s Aussie Christmas. But don’t worry - Bluey’s Aussie Christmas’s stunning Christmas Tree will be at Bluewater from 28th November through until 29th December, so families will still have the opportunity to snap a photo of the space if they’d like. Plus, Bluey is also sponsoring Bluewater’s much-loved Christmas attraction the Ice Rink. The undercover attraction is located outside the Village, near Zizzi’s and will be open every day until Sunday 4th January (excluding Christmas Day). Find out more and to book tickets here.
Q: Will I definitely get to meet the Bluey and Bingo Costume Character as part of the activation?
While there will be appearances from the costume characters at select times, we can’t guarantee that every guest will meet them. Their visits are scheduled throughout the day and may vary depending on timing and demand.
Q: Will this activation open anywhere else?
There are currently no plans for additional venue locations for Bluey’s Aussie Christmas.
Q: Can I take photos during the activation?
Yes! Photography is encouraged, feel free to capture the Bluey Aussie Christmas fun. Just be mindful of others and avoid flash photography where possible.
Q: Will photography be shared online?
There may be filming crew present at the event and we are planning to take photos and videos of our guests, including your kiddos. By coming along to the event, you are giving us your permission to photograph and film you and your family and to use the photos and videos in promotional materials and media, including on social media and our websites. If you do not want your kiddo to be photographed or filmed, please let one of Bluey’s Helpers know. Please do not take photographs of other people’s children unless you have the consent from their parent/carer.
