Happy Pride! It’s important to us that everyone feels safe and welcome at Bluewater – not just during Pride Month, but all year round. We stand united in Pride with the LGBTQ+ community and against discrimination. We see you. Read on to find out how we’re celebrating Pride 2025 and how we can all support our local LGBTQ+ community.
🌈 Pride Canterbury takes place on Saturday 7th June in the heart of Canterbury, centred around Westgate Gardens. The day will begin with a parade starting and ending at Westgate Towers, leading into an afternoon of LGBTQ+ visibility, community stalls, food vendors, and celebration in one of Canterbury’s most historic areas.
🌈 Margate Pride takes place on Saturday 9th August at Margate Main Sands. This annual festival highlights local LGBTQ+ talent while welcoming world-class performers like Sugababes, Self Esteem, and Jodie Harsh. Screenings, panel discussions, theatre, workshops, socials and more.
🌈 Faversham Pride takes place on Saturday 16th August at West Faversham Community Centre. Their event has two parts. A completely free family funday, with bands, drag artists and rides for everyone to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and an over 18's evening after party full of glitz and glam.
Other events in Kent include Medway Pride on Saturday 16th August at Rochester Castle. Pride Ashford on Saturday 21st June in Ashford Town Centre, Deal Pride on Saturday 12th July at Walmer Green, and Dover Pride on Saturday 23rd August at Biggin Hall and Dover Town Hall.

A not-for-profit company, based in Kent that aims to provide social and emotional support services, including peer support and mentoring.
